Dear Prayer Partner,

We enjoyed many great meetings through the month of February. May is right around the corner which will mark 3 years of deputation for our family. We are expecting our fifth child in May and our 11 year wedding anniversary is May 17th. Our prayer and heart’s desire is to raise the additional support needed to fly to Germany very soon.

I would like to take the opportunity in this letter to ask for your help. We currently have 60 churches/individuals that support our ministry each month. We have visited four times that many during our deputation. On average, one out of every four churches we visit supports our ministry financially. According to every missionary I have talked with; this is a very high ratio. Still, we lack full support. If just 23 of these 180 churches would begin supporting our ministry each month, Stacy, Josiah, Gabriel, Bella, Caleb and I could leave with full support for Germany soon after our baby is delivered. We have our passports, we have a call from the Lord, we have a missionary pastor to partner with, and we have the zeal and passion for winning our troops to Christ. Will your church pray about supporting our ministry?

We pray God’s blessing on you who pray for us and those who send letters and cards of encouragement. I am thankful and comforted to know that hundreds of Christians are praying for our family each month. We had much sickness in our family over the past several weeks. I had the flu and barely recovered before preaching at two churches in Virginia this month. I feel sorry for the poor church that suffered through my coughing and hacking during the P.M. Service. The people were very gracious and kind to me despite the terrible sermon they endured.

One of the joys I have experienced during our travels is the honor of meeting war veterans. These heroes often make a point of visiting my display table and expressing the importance of taking the gospel to our troops. Last week I met a man who stormed the beaches of Normandy during WWII and helped secure freedom for the entire world. I am always humbled and honored to talk with our brave veterans and I proudly salute their sacrifice.

Stacy and I are thrilled about the $1,000 gift toward or moving fund from Bellingham Baptist Church. We are off to a good start raising money for the move but it will take a tremendous amount to relocate to Germany. If your church could help in any way with our moving expenses we would greatly appreciate it. Checks can be sent to BIMI using account number 1323.

It seems every missionary holds tightly to the verse found in I Thessalonians 5; “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. Brethren, pray for us.”  We can say beyond a doubt the Lord provides wherever He leads. He has certainly sustained us for the work we are called to do. We give God the glory and praise for leading us this far and meeting our need each step of the way. There are more stories than we could ever tell of God’s hand of provision. Each need we take to the Lord is faithfully met. Thank you all for your invaluable help!
